So I've ben going back and forth on doing a FWI. I did one on my GF's 08' Grand Prix and it definately opened up some power and made it sound nice. It was simple. I just bought a couple of clamps, a PCM tray, intake tubing that has the smooth inside so air flows nicely and a huge 9" cone. All together it was under 100 bucks. I originally ported my Aurora intake box and gutted some air restricting sections out of it, then dropped a K&N filter into it, but now I'm thinking I could get more outta doing FWI. I want to eliminate the entire air box. Even the section that holds the PCM, b.c if I left only that section there, it would look stupid. Does anyone klnow if any other PCM trays for other vehicle's would fit the Aurora PCM? All I would have to do is drill it to the base where the air box was and just snap the PCM into the tray. Then I could attach my FWI. I was thinking of tubing it down to behind the fog light after making some cuts..... Another thought was buying another air intake box from an Aurora and using a dremel to trim around where the PCM already snaps into, sorta making my own PCM tray. I havent decided yet, but if a tray is available I'd just go that route. Any thoughts would help

I was reading this and thinking "what the heck is this guy talking about" haha, then I realized you have a second gen.
If I remember right Tony(AuroraRancher)'s pace car has sort of a "vented" airbox where the pcm sits. Maybe a design like that would interest you. Maybe he'll get on here and show you some pics haha
