New Rochelle, NY.........For the past few days, a pack of idiots has been running around in that town vandalizing cars by throwing large pieces of fruit through the windows. And guess what? One of the damaged cars , according to The Journal News is a 2008 Ford Impala!!!!!............................................. "Frank Scaccia found scratches on the hood of his black 2008 Ford Impala and a dent high on the rear passenger-side door" Read the rest of this here.

At my school, our automotive program has some 'shop cars'. A couple include a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 and and 1995 Ford Thunderbird 3.8. Well, on our final exam there was a page where you had to name all the vehicles year make and model. We got answers like Ford Firebird, Ford Mustang and whatnot. But for the Pontiac we even had some kid call it a Pontiac Winnebago.
And then your have the kids that look at the 4cyl in their Grand Am and say that it's a V6. Smh I've lost faith in humanity.

"according to The Journal News is a 2008 Ford Impala!"
From a nobody on the street, maybe. From a journalist? Makes you re-think how much they really check what they write.

I have been reading that paper either in print or online since 1957, and in all those years I can remember only one time when they corrected a typo.

Journalists? What, you expect them to have any sense, knowledge or intelligence? All they know is journalism and pretty much nothing else. They even fail at grammar and word usage. I have had personal knowledge of several news stories and I can tell you that journalist either lie or just do not understand what they are reporting on.
I am talking all the way from high school newspapers to "60 Minutes".
