I just took some more accurate measurements and Zeroed it out on the non active part of the grind to measure actual lift will post soon, and the exhaust cam is also changed and marked with one dab of paint. Will post soon.

Guess this one is Shelby modded too? Lol I knew I'd seen paint on the cams before. I'm not discounting you though because you actually measured. What are the stock cams supposed to be anyways? (again I believe you I just don't know)

.339 lift. I cleaned my caliper last night with some gun oil (had a little bit of sandy debris in the track). Today I am gonna re check the exhaust cam to make sure it'd definitive because I've never heard of an exhaust cam change. Unless it is maybe one of the X50 test motors. (X50 was a 13K dollar option that included a new X50 engine, tune, and install; unless you purchased that option new then it came with brakes n stuff)

I can't seem to get an accurate measurement on the back, I've got from .34-.353. My caliper doesn't seem to want to accurately read that specific depth. (I'm gonna take it back and get a new one). I did get pics of the casting numbers though. If someone could help with identifying.

So what are the actual DIFFERENCES between the stock, 250 hp engine and the Series 1 320 hp engine as an assembly? (Just cams, cams and heads, cams, heads and intake, etc.)
Does anyone have the spec's for the stock 4.0L cams to compare to the Series 1?

Cams and intake, is the most accepted answer, but I don't know for certain.

shelbyracing .....Necrobumping -Were both cams supposed to be changed on the series 1 motor or just the intake cam? I have a picture showing the serial number of my exhaust cam from when I did my valve cover gasket and it matches yours. Stock Aurora motor. For some reason looking at the picture reminded me of this thread.

I think it was just one set of the cams, either intake or exhaust. Mr. Sizemore, the original poster, passed away in an auto accident a few years ago.

What! I had no idea he passed away. He was a great source of info and I would message him here and there. I knew his daughter had a brain tumor but I never heard he actually passed. Terrible to hear this...
