So... one of my buddy's friends has a g37 n wants to race my classic.. now as some know my trans has been messing up so I'm getting it fixed before this takes place of course.. my question to y'all is how do u think the rora will do against it.. I've smoked a g35 coupe.. but I've done some reading bout em his g37 is a 3.7 v6 with 330 HP n a sport package n peddle shifters.. that's all I know.. what do y'all think??

even a g35 coupe will beat an Aurora unless he's a bad driver.. g37 will definitely smoke you lol. g35 coupes can do high 4s/low 5s 0-60s and do low 14 quarter miles.. classic auroras do high 15 quarter miles if you're lucky, and 16s average.. with 0-60s in the high 6/low 7s range

G37 coupe should smoke u with out a problem at all. Its probably 1, 000lbs lighter, amd much quicker. Like the redshark said, don'tput any money on it lol .

i agree with them. you really dont have a chance. i did a short light to light race with a g35, the thing smoked me. a g36 should be similar. sorry, but i dont think it would be a good idea, especially dont put any money on it.

It might be a fun race, sure, but I wouldn't risk racing something even after you fix your trans. Our cars are older now, you have to take care of them. Beating on them like that can only hurt.

Haha.. yea it'd just b 4 fun to see how I would do against it.. n I never back down idc I' told my buddy his stang would beat me n still did it 4 fun.. I thought after reading about em some I'd definitely lose but from a roll I have beat a g35.. n I dont get on it all the time every once in a while I think she needs to b let loose though lol

No way you beat a g35 from a roll, seriously lol. Even the early ones (03 ish) would smoke you man unless there was something wrong with it.. Too much of a difference there... Now an older mustang, 99-04 94-98 yeah I'd say it'd be close, but not a g35/g37 lol

I'd think that **IF** there was a chance of keeping up, it would have to be from a 20 mph (ish) roll. These things are turds off the line. You'd need to be getting close to the 4K RPM powerband to even put on a good showing.

If your car has the sound system your sig suggest, that an easy additional 300lbs. Plus your weight. Which I don't know what that is. But odds are you have atleast 425 lbs of added weight in your Aurora. Each 100 lbs is equal to a tenth of a second lower 0-60. So lets say you can nail the fastest proved time of 7.2 to 60. You still have to factor in the .5 seconds of additional time it's going to take to lug your heavy car to 60. That places you at almost 8 seconds to sixty. A G37 can do it in less than six. A G35 can do it in about 6.5. Don't bet money. And keep it off the street!  |

I've beat everything I've raced. Except a new corvette. I look for mustangs,chargers and ricers on purpose. In the 03 of course ;D 94 octane gas And no fear Oh yeah, lose the heavy,loud spare tire.  The funny thing is they don't know what beat them.......... |
