I see that your signature says that you have a 1998. That supercharger is for a 2006 Northstar. There were many changes made to the Aurora & Northstar engines in the 2000 & 2001 model years, so my guess is that it will probably not fit a 1998.

Nope. IF everything lined up imagine where that pulley would be sitting. Good luck getting it to work in transverse fwd application. Never mind whatever sensors there are for it.

Not to mention the already high compression, I'd be very wary of any significant amount of boost

Yeah. However, I would NEVER do that on anything I own. Usually when you make these modifications you will also accompany it with some more safety aspects or at least not make the vehicle less safe and cut out 2/3 of the actual bumper.
