I've been wondering if the 2G Aurora is compatible with any other car's suspension. I've searched for it a few times, but couldn't come up with anything conclusive. For example, I used to be real into the GM 3800 modding scene and drove an 01 Regal GS. There was zero aftermarket for the car, but our suspension was compatible with the 97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix, so that's where we'd source parts from. Just curious if there's anything like that for the 2nd gen Aurora.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I believe Caddy suspensions, Buick Lucerne, and The Newer 04^ Grand Prix's. I'm sure someone will confirm for me

I do not believe the Grand Prix is backwards compatible. Bonneville may be though. Lucerne should be.

I put '97 Aurora front caliper brackets and rotors on a '00 Grand Prix, the Grand Prix caliper was the same as Aurora, but Aurora rotors were a little bigger. I put '07 Impala calipers, brackets, and rotors on a '07 Grand Prix, which also had the same front caliper as Auroras. I have '07 Impala front calipers, brackets, and rotors on my '97 Aurora, this works on '98-'03 Auroras with no modifications, some '96s and all '97s with little modification. The Impala front calipers are dual piston, with bigger pad surface area. If you have bigger wheels you can go V8 Lucerne front calipers, or even CTS-V front calipers with a little extra work. CTS-V front brakes have not been done on an Aurora, but they fit on Grand Prixs, so they should fit on Auroras. aurorah.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Zoom&action=display&thread=25759aurorah.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=1stgen&action=display&thread=3782

Thanks for the input, everyone. I think I might just take a trip to the junkyard and pull some struts out of an Aurora and out of a few GM cars and compare.
