Saw this on the episode of TRUCKS! Saturday morning and it got me thinking. Anyone who has more knowledge than I do (none when it comes to this) please chime in. www.holley.com/05135NOS.asp Was thinking the 75 HP shot might be safe for the 4.0? Looks simple enough to install and can be programmed to come on/off when tapping into tach wire. Sent from my XT901 using proboards

Wet shots are generally a lot safer - you don't want to do a dry shot, ever.
Now... here's the issue with using it. You need a tune to use nitrous... or else the fabled "nitrous bad things" can happen. It's perfectly safe - if you have a good tune. Problem is... with all of that extra, lovely, funny gas... you start to encounter a lovely thing called heat. Thus why methanol injection is so lovely... also requires a tune... and getting vehicles tuned for E85 etc... it burns a lot cooler and has a much higher octane rating, which works well in high compression situations (like the Aurora.. which is NOT ready for E85 lol)
A lot of people have theirs hooked up to WOT switches, so it only sprays when at WOT, and at a specific RPM (let's say 3500) RPM's. WOT, no spray until 3500rpm... once you hit 3500RPM, woo!
Honestly, I don't think I've seen it done. But hey, I think it's probably be one of the easiest power adders if someone can tune these for it lol
