I have been looking for a DA polisher for some time now. Found this little gem at HF for $60 on sale. Got it for $45 with 25% and one each of compound/cutting, polishing and finish pads. So, was out the door for $60.
Going to try it out in the next couple of days. The reviews seem to be great though. Have 90 days to return it so we'll see!
Keep us posted. I'm very curious as well. Man, I tell ya...HF stuff just seems to get better and better.

You should. I don't think some people can handle it on higher speeds though haha.
There are even people modding these out and making improvements to them. More grease in head, changing backing plate, etc. I think I am going to get a 5" backing plate for it so I can use some better pads. The HF polish and finishing pads are good but the cutting pad could be better.
