Just got a DA polisher and was curious if anyone has used any of the Meguiar's Ultimate Product line? I was looking at the compound, polish and liquid wax to be specific in that product line.
To start out I am not looking to break the bank on products and this product line seems to be one of the higher rated 'over the counter' line. TIA!
If you have other recommendation for liquid compound, polish and wax... shoot!

I have used all three. The ultimate line is definitely the one to get. Their cleaner wax is alright but just not as good.
Zano is a great brand of wax, it's expensive but one container lasts forever. I helped a friend at work wax his car with it and he is giving me some to use on the olds, I don't think I'll ever buy anything else. It's awesome!

I picked up a double action polisher this morning @ HF. Less than 50 bucks with the coupon! Got it for my "fishin' truck" but thinking about spiffing up the Aurora as well. Meguiar's products seem to be the choice of nearly everyone I've asked, Mothers getting an honorable mention.

It's the only place that I go into looking for one specific thing and leave with several "can't beat that" items. I love and hate HF.

Meguiar's is top notch, and I'd agree the Ultimate line is what you want. Anything 3M branded is awesome as well but is sometimes hard to find. (For those who may not know, 3M actually owns Meguiar's.)
I've also used Zymol in the past and have been happy with it. Doesn't seem to last quite as long as Meguiar's but is close. Smells awesome too - very coconut heavy...reminds me of a nice suntan lotion and the beach! ;D
Overall I'd go Meguiar's. Their quick detailer and quick wax are great for touch-ups too.

So, here is what I purchased.
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound Meguiar's Ultimate Polish Griot's One Step Sealant Meguiar's Ultimate Synthetic Polymer Liquid Wax
Advance Auto does not carry the Megs Ultimate Polish. I picked it up at Wal-Mart.
I washed and clay barred the '96 today. Ready for a good detail tomorrow or this weekend.

Well, it is going to rain for two days at least. So, I will be detailing in the garage so comparison pictures will probably be hard to come by. Will certainly post results though. I plan to take my good old time on it.

Well, the clay and compound don't need done frequently. Compound sometimes never. The DA makes detailing a pleasure though. Should have bought one sooner So, far so good with it. I get more comfortable with it as I go. Will be using the polish today and hopefully seal it. Then final wax coat tomorrow or late this evening. I've got a million things going on at once it feels like that. And that's just car stuff haha.

I come to find out the OTC Megs Ultimate Compound is combination of their M105 and M205 products. So, I may be purchasing these separately some time later.

Going to try the Ultimate Black next on front and rear bumper and side skirts. Just to spruce them up. I usually use tire shine on the side skirts. Found this tidbit of information on application for longevity on Meguiars forum. It's good for interior too, but supposedly has an odor.
