About a week ago I noticed that the power door locks on the rear doors were not working. At first I thought that it was the remote, but they would not work off of the switch on the driver's door either.
At the same time the rear windows quit working too. Not from the driver's door main panel or the switches on the doors themselves.
And a couple of days ago the same thing happened with the front passenger door. So the situation now is None of the power windows or door locks work except for the driver's door itself.
The only thing that I can think of is that there is an issue with the switch array in the driver's door armrest. I wouldn't be surprised because of the amount of snow and slush that can fall in there when the wipers kick on with the door open and a windshield full of snow.
Is there any way to test this? If that is that problem it is an easy swap out, but before I go getting a new assembly I would like the input of those here who know a lot more about these types of things than I do Thanks

still dealing with this...any ideas? I had a friend suggest that it might be broken wires that pass between the driver's door and car body. Has anyone had this problem before?

Do a search on here.
If you have moonroof car, look for water under the driver seat. If you have water the splice under the seat is bad. Search .....

I do have a moonroof car and I have noticed wet carpeting in the rear driver's side floor. If I take the driver's front seat out, what exactly will I be looking for? Does this seem like the problem given that everything in the driver's door works...lock, window and mirror, and none of those work on the other three? Again...what exactly will I be looking for with the drivers seat reomoved? Thanks Much!

LOL at that scotchlock... I can't believe that would be OEM? Those things don't belong in vehicles unless you just absolutely can't get a soldering iron in a certain area.

Look for a splice tap connector.
Thats your communication junction.
It will be inside the bundle of wires exactly under the seat. It will be corroded. Cut the wires back to good copper. Solder together and add length to make up for the bad length removed. Shrink wrap using marine grade.

I happened to have this problem right now. I checked all the fuses, I pulled apart the rear doors and everything looks fine. I do have water underneath the driver's seat. Well not a lot, the carpet is wet. Does anybody please have images on what I'm looking for? I'm sorry if I'm bothering but I'm in the middle of trying to figure this out and I don't know what to look for in the search

Remove the driver's seat and pull the carpet back. Splice is approximately indicated by arrow. Remove tape from harness conduit. Locate four tan w/white stripe wires connected by a scotchlok connector. Cut out the connector and any effected wire. Add wire as needed to connect all four tan w/white stripe wires into one union. Solder, weatherproof, and reassemble...

Tigger, where would I be without you?!? Haha, up a creek, I'd presume. Seriously though, happy to help. You keep one of these vehicles long enough, you eventually find all the "secrets"...

OK, I pulled the seat... pulled up the carpet. Which is completely drenched. It's like a giant sponge. So now I have to replace the carpet. Anyway... I found the terminal and it was corroded. I now have power to the rear passenger door but not the front passenger, nor rear driver doors. Should that have solved my issue or are there more of these stupid terminals?

That's the only splice, at least for the door control modules.
How did you reconnect the four wires? Use solder?
You can check for continuity from the door module plug back to the splice. If that's good, you may have a power or ground issue... I'm assuming you tried both the master and passenger door switches...

I tried all the switches... Twisted them together before I soldered them to make sure everything was functioning. Also, on a funny note, my dumb ash forgot to unplug the pass seat when I pulled it out... Needless to say, are the plugs identical from driver to pass or are they mirrored (backwards)?

DOH!
FSM says identical. There's one less wire on the passenger side, just match up what you have...

Ok, so I patched all the breaks in the wiring and now I'm back at the part where the data terminal was just a POS. Is it safe to solder all four wires together? Or does there need to be some type of split between them somehow?

Haha, yeah, that'll work! At least you used heat shrink butt connectors, lol!
If you haven't buttoned it all back up, might wanna dip or RTV those connections for insurance...
