Been a hell of a week so far, was heading over to mom and Erik's yesterday and Scarlette decided to lock her water pump up which in turn melted the water pump belt and pulley. $600.00 later, She now has a new water pump, tensioner assembly, belt and pulley. Stole my engine cover from Mom's while I was there. Posting a pic of her with her cover on. Attachments:

Now you have an excuse to throw some red MSDs on there now since you painted those, ;D

It looks like a can of silver paint exploded at the top of the engine bay a little bit! Cover looks good tho, didn't Lance do that one?

I am going to retouch parts of the bay with black metallic and Toreador red paint. Lance, I am thinking about the red MSD's when I go to get her tuned up next. And no it had nothing to do with sliver paint on the belt. Water pump housing had been leaking for awhile and the water pump finally decided to seize up on me. Just glad it happened here in town where I was only a few blocks from Mom rather than when I was on my way to Arkansas or something. Now we just have to get Princess back on the road. I am going over to Mom's today to help put her new starter in and get her back roadworthy. More pics to follow after I do some more paint work to her engine bay.

Same thing I was thinking. Imagine how much the tune up will run him

Glad you got her fixed, but that's crazy expensive!

Sorry to pile on here...you had the water pump done for but you're going to tackle the starter? Piece of cake, it's just in the middle of the engine! Btw, how is Mom? Princess, Scarlet, Silver? Wasn't she crazy active on the forum when she joined a few years ago? ...back on topic
