A lace on, leather steering wheel cover from www.wheelskins.com Not easy to install, but it looks & feels better than a slip on steering wheel cover.........................

Thanks.....it's not really soft, but it feels better than the wheel itself.

Both the 2G & the Classic steering wheels look much better with a cover like this.

Not a wheel cover guy myself.. didnt they have something that would match the interior better? I love the feel of the soft leather steering wheel when the leather is treated properly

I guess it would be different if mine weren't in okay shape but, to me anyway, covers just look so obviously aftermarket that they have never been an option, really. Looks pretty good though, Mark, I'm glad you like it!

I like my steering wheel so much more in the Aurora than the Ciera. The Aurora is nice and fat and feels manly in my hand whereas the Ciera is skinny and wimpy, kind of hard to explain. I have a cover on both of them.

I put a cover sort of like that on the '86 Calais Supreme I had about 25 years ago. It was a definite improvement over the hard plastic, especially once it started cracking and a couple of chunks fell off when the car was about five years old. Bought it at Kmart. It was genuine leather and only cost a couple of dollars more than the perforated vinyl covers that you wrapped the plastic cord around that were so ubiquitous back then. I haven't felt the need to put any sort of cover on a steering wheel since then.
