i did this on my free time yesterday (10/13/13) and today (10/14/13) i will be putting up more pics as you can see the headlights look like i barely put any tint on them but if you see it in person you can tell but i didnt wanna get them too dark in this pic of the headlights i only did the right side i was about to do the left and also in the pic thats showing both tail lights you can see the black spot where the spray(tint) got on the car yes i used tape but didnt use enough on that part but i did scrub it off the car so it is now gone tomorrow if i have time i will do my fog lamps as well and i will put more pics up soon

Just open the headlamps and paint the chrome bezel.

Just open the headlamps and paint the chrome bezel. ^^x2!!! No diminished light output unless you never drive at night. Sent from my XT901 using proboards

Why? It's easy! Just diminishing light output painting over the top.

It's easy to someone has done it before haha. It was a little daunting to me at first too but didn't end up being a big deal.
I would tend to agree, though. Tinting the outside diminishes output, painting the inner shroud doesn't. And I'm assuming tinting the outside is also illegal? Sall, can you post a link to the material you use to re-seal them? It is working quite well, yes?

To me it looks like the headlamps aren't tinted at all.

Yea I know imma put more on the headlight lens put in person you can tell the difference though but I seen plenty of cars with tinted head and tail lights and they haven't gotten in trouble yet so I'm not gonna worry bout that

I can see the tint. Its very light. And that's how I would leave it. You don't wamma take away to much light output. Looks good tho. You could always pull em aprt and plasti dip the chrome housing like I didd mine. You just need window ribbon to re seal the headlamps.
