if it has wheels and a motor, I'll ride it.

I got some chrome 17x7 Chrysler 300 rims, I am needing help trying to decide what size tires I should run, the car won't be lowered . Would like to keep about the same ride height, I have seen 225/55 and 235/55 or 235/65, anyone with some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Those wheels have the wrong bolt pattern. Although others have ran 5x114.3mm on our 5x115mm, it is not worth the risk to me personally. You should get a set of hubcentric rings at mimimum. 235/55-17 tire size would be as close to stock. Can go wider though. Use a calculator for comparison: www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Thanks for the reply, I am going to get some rings for them, I just thought that I have seen then on a couple other auroras and I got them for very cheap. if I have any problems or don't feel safe with them I will just keep the stock ones for now.

so how is the lug pattern fit can you tell it's a bit too tight or loose fitting on the lugs?

Well I just put one on temporary, and it is maybe just a tad looser, and the hub difference is around 1.5 mm. The offset is different, they fit on back no problem but I half to put spacers on front, 1/4 inch spacers, of course I an putting them all the way around, so, just a little adjustment and they fit good I might change to longer studs just y to feel safer but can bolt up with out them.

Sure they fit, but not properly. Some run them, some don't. I for one don't risk it.
What is the offset on the 300M wheels and which ones did ya get? There are a couple styles.
