Anybody have some pics of a 99 Aurora alternator? I checked in the search and saw the alternator write up but the pics where taking down. I got a feeling where I think it maybe at but wanted to be for sure. Thanks in advance.

But it looks like its just above the AC compressor on the grill side of the engine just like the gen 2. I had to take the alternator out when I fixed my AC - I took the wheel well panel off, the windshield washer fluid resovor out, dropped the front of the engine cradle and the A/C and Alternator came out fairly easy. The procedure in the GM forum seems like more work. But you would have to evac the AC compressor and pull it my way. ...gene

Ratchet wrenches are going pretty cheap at Sears, I recommend them for this repair.
