So neither of my rear windows work, i pulled the motors out and took them apart and cleaned the brushes still nothing. I put my meter on the plug that clips into the motor, hit the front door switch and didn't get a reading but when the switches on the drivers door are pushed i can hear a clicking which i believe is coming from the door moduels.

Yeah they are a known failure point on the 2Gs. Usually the regulator portion IRRC though.

...I've replaced all window motors at one point. Haha, I've replaced all the passenger window regulators. Driver's door motor and reg are OE, lol!

Usually, but not always, the regulators go bad, they have a cable that ends up breaking. We have a 2g on our back lot at work, it has had 2 regulator cables break just sitting there, lol. I noticed the back window down one day, when I was pulling it in to fix it, I checked the others, and the other side on the rear broke. rockauto is a good place to buy them, the newer ones are an updated design that last a little longer.

Just a suggestion as well, although it more than likely could be the regulators, I've never had luck cleaning up the brushes and commutator on window motors. Tried it last time I had a weak motor, put it back in and no difference...put in a new motor, and working again.
