Well, I was attempting to find the fuel pump cut off (inertia switch) on the '01 yesterday so I could crank the engine a few times without starting, but couldn't for the life of me find it. Neither could I find any reference to it in the owners manual. Does the '01 even have a fuel inertia switch? If so, where is it at? If not, what does everybody do to crank the engine without starting? Fuel pump relay? Fuse?

I don't think our cars have one. GM never did seem to be a big believer in them. Now Ford on the other hand...
As for crank without start, depending on the car I've pulled the fuel pump relay or even just held the pedal to the floor when cranking - this activates "clear flood" mode and reduces (almost cuts off) amt. of fuel injected.

Fuel pump relay would be the easiest. Not positive where it's at on the 2G, but it's easy to get to on the classic.
