I have an '01 3.5 Aurora. Is it possible to add a Homelink transmitter? I purchased a used overhead console that has the transmitter but it looks like some additional wiring may be needed.

Just tap power and ground from a map light. It won't be tied to "valet mode" like OEM, but it'll work!
Let me know if you need any wiring info.

Thanks. Now I just need to find the wiring connector. Any info on that would be appreciated.

Can you post a pic of the transmitter (specifically where the connector attaches)? There's tons of Homelink stuff on Ebay, bound to be something that will work, lol!
Might be able to solder in power and ground directly to PCB.

It's not a good picture of where the harness plugs in.

Get a connector at the salvage yard or snap the plastic cover piece off and solder wire directly to the PCB traces. Without looking at the manual I don't know which of three pins are power and ground though.
