After 6 months of service, this Weapon-R air cleaner failed. It broke right around the air inlet. I do not recommend. I glued it with superglue while I order a different brand, and then junk this expensive piece of sh*****t. Notice how the rust started to show. After 6 months of summer usage.... Attachments:

Ouch that sucks. I'm running a Volant cold air intake system on my 2nd gen, no issues.

Recently junked the bazooka cone and went back to the stock air box on my classic. Gutted that, got rid of the resonator, and went with a K&N flat filter. Working fine! PS ... used an old wheel bearing cover to plug the hole from the resonator. Keep forgetting to get a new one ... the one I had laying about took a beating somewhere along the way.

^Exactly.
Go back to your old air box and get a Spectre panel filter. I buy a new one every spring, <20 bucks...
1. The OE setup IS a CAI. 2. 6500rpm x 2L per revolution = 13000L/m = 459 cfm max, and that's @ 100% effeciency, which you won't get, ever... 3. Normally aspirated engines suck air, you're not "packing in" more air with a higher flow set up. Buy a good filter and keep it clean.
I know OE ain't sexy, but it does work!
