Haha, this may open up a whole can of worms.... I'm currently running Phillips X-treme Vision, they were cheap(ish) and met my needs, can't complain. But, I change out my bulbs every 2-3 years though, filaments do degrade! I now bow to the HID/Retrofit community...

the head light beams dont project far and i dont think the adjusters are working. Just thought if someone made a nice pair of after market headlights that would be an option.

There is zero bolt-in aftermarket support for these cars. That said, there is plenty you can do yourself. Tigger went into it a bit, but the retrofit source is a great place to look. I ran Mini H1s in the 96 and currently have a set of 50W D2Ss in the Jaguar. I've been happy with both.

RIght, if you want improvement on the light output and distance, and sounding like your adjusters aren't helping, you should look into retrofitting. I am also planning (eventually) a retrofit on my 2001 with Morimoto Mini H1s: www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/bi-xenon-morimoto-mini-stage-3-kit-h1.html#.VbtmxyilVFsA really knowledgable member here awehlage helped me out a lot with the exact steps to take in installing, and unless someone else here wants to argue I would call him the forum retrofit master. Perhaps he can help you a bit if you have questions.
