I recall some members mentioning porting out the Y-pipe, but forget who they were. I guess the average length of blockage inside the main pipe (of the Y-pipe) was anywhere from 1/4" to 1/2" pipe restriction (from the smalelr pipe welded into it )inside. So a pretty good blockage. Who grinded that down so far? anyone? I'm sure there would be some benefit to this.....
I also read on "Carroll Custom Cadillacs," website, that the owner offers this service for about $150. Actually isn't too bad of a price considering the amount of grinding involved. It seems like a PITA job.
Also, I searched Ebay for an 01'- 03' Aurora Y-pipe, but there's nothing. However, there are plenty of Y-pipes from a Cadillac Deville, or Seville etc... Does anyone know if they are all the same? I figured I'd buy one and try to port it myself, but don't want to buy the wrong one.
