Hello all, My drivers side window only goes down about an inch and stops. It sounds like there is something slapping inside the door just before it stops. The window will go up without problems. Any ideas what is going on? When the window stops so does the motor.
Can someone give me some advice and tips on removing the door panel?
Thanks
Dan

Sounds like bad window regulator or just the motor. The door panel is on clips all u need to do is remove the tweeter and the door handle cover where you have memory settings and then the door just comes out on clips when you release most of the clips you need to pull the panel towards your self and up at same time.

Had to replace 3 of 4 in my car *eyeroll* At least its easy. Make sure you slide the metal tabs behind the grab handle on the door panel first so they latch onto the door itself and you dont have a squishy door panel when you go to close the door on the inside

I wasn't sure where they went but soon saw found them. Thanks for the tip!

Update-got it all together and it works. East job but....while the old motor bolted on and works the motor housing isn't in the same position as the old one. The speaker magnet hits the housing. Local car parts store owner ordered me a new motor to see if it will fit properly. It looked like it would looking at the pictures. He also said he would sell it to me at his cost if it worked. I guess Paul was partially right Again, thanks for all the help. It is much appreciated!

i dono how urs hit the speaker but i guess in some positions it is possible . Some regulators i install the motor was facing another way and had to starch power plug wire to the motor to connected. Once i got regulator without a motor and couldn't find a motor that will fit correct to regulator and the car . Had to return it back since than i buy regulator with motor.

I had to undo 2 snaps holding the wiring harness to get the connector to reach. Hopefully the new motor will line up in the correct position.
