I don't think Tesla will fail. There's a luxury vehicle importer across the street from my office that is an exclusive Fisker dealer. You don't really see a lot of them but they are pretty slick looking cars. I would drive one if I had the cash.
Buick and Lincoln could die out and I don't think there would be a whole lot of people that missed them.

No one likes Buick here? Buick is not going anywhere anytime soon!!!!! I don't have anything against Buick, I loved my granddad's '69 Skylark, it's just a numbers thing. And frankly, Buick doesn't have them. GM will limp them along for a few more years then drop them like a hot rock. Sales down 18% last year...

The only reason Buick still exists is its popularity in China.

The only reason Buick still exists is its popularity in China. Daily Driver: 2011 Impala LT Weekend Toy: 1995 Aurora That is why the government dictated that Pontiac be killed and Buick preserved. I assure you the American dealers would have preferred it be the reverse. As the owner of two Pontiacs and the son of a Buick owner, so would I.
