Just finished a little CAD project for the Sub-Enclosure I will be building shortly. The stock BOSE system needs a little more thump. Nothing real high powered. 2x 8" JL Audio subs in a dual ported enclosure, powered by Rockford 300W Punch. Here is a quick video of the CAD work: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WCWs4F9IkY

Good deal. Will be using 3/4" MDF for the project? Pocket holes? Which reminds me. I STILL need to get the finish panels completed over my setup/aux battery...

I cheated and strapped in an Autobahn powered sub. One driver, one passive radiator, and good for a couple hundred watts. Size is perfect ... it just clears the spare tire cover, and I can still slide stuff through the rear seat port. You can see a pair of their deck speakers peeking out from the rear deck as well. Those are powered by the sub amp. Real nice sound. You plan to add a remote? My setup has a volume control as well as variable high pass/crossover. I mounted that just in front of the rear seat riser on my classic. Nice for fine tuning different sources and stations and easily accessible. PS ... that's an "audiophile grade" pine tree too. <G>

Kool beans, thanks Tigger...
So my Amp, that is going to power the Sub's, has the option of Speaker Level or Line Level inputs.
It would be relatively easy to tap off the speakers in the rear deck, and connect to the Speaker Level input.
However, would it be worth my effort to tap off the Line Level inputs to the Bose Amp, and run these to my Amp RCA inputs?

No problem!
And yes, definitely worth the effort to tap the low level signal. Much cleaner.

Have been browsing for a pic of the harness at the amp, with pointer to the wires I need to tap.
Thought I had stumbled upon it at onetime but no luck finding it now.

You can look at the first diagram. B8 (DK BLUE, +) and B10 (BLK, -) for the Right Channel, B7 (BRN/WHT, +) and B11 (BRN, -) for the Left Channel. Here's the plug pinout:

Anyone happen to know what the rear subwoofer speakers impedance Is? 2 or 4 ohms?

Bose speakers/subs are generally 2 ohms or less.
You can use a multi-meter to test resistance at the terminals to be sure though.
