Evening Aurora Family, Can anyone enlighten me on how does the door switches for the int.lgts. work?...I'm sure there's a switch somewhere. Thanks

The door modules communicate to the RIM (Rear Integration Module) whether a particular door is open or closed over Class 2 serial data.
I think the physical "switch" is part of the door lock actuator which sends an open/closed signal to it's corresponding door module.

My drivers door has stopped turning on when I open the door...just trying to figure an attack plan for its repair.

It's less common in the 2Gs, but have you checked the wiring between the body and door, in the black rubber boot? Could be as simple as a broken wire...
