I acquired a 97 Aurora this summer and I love it! It has a 4L engine, 130k miles and amazing power and speed. I'm going to change the plugs and wires soon. Your posts on that will be very helpful. Thanks for creating this source of info. I love these older American cars! That being said I also have a 69 Mercedes 220 needing engine work...

Thank you. Now I just need to figure out how to post photos.... Post them on a hosting site like Photobucket. Then copy the /img link and paste that link in your post.

Has anyone changed oxygen sensors on a 97? I guess I'd better invest in a service manual...

We acquired a 2001 Aurora only 80,000 miles not a dent or scratch, beautiful car. It is to be my son's first car (if I can stand it) great nobel image for him. It's been sitting for 3 years and we are wrestling with the security system but we shall overcome...May need your help. Thanks

Haha, pretty nice snag for your son's first car! I know a little (as in "very little", lol) about the PassKey III security system, but you might want to start a new thread here; Audio, Electric, and Lighting '01-'03Just click the link above then click the "Create Thread" button in the upper right corner... Pretty much, just describe what what you got going on... Chances are someone can help.
