This is the 2016 Oldsmobile homecoming again in Lansing, Michigan that I attend almost every year. I know this was back in june of this year, but I have been so busy this year and havent had the time to post my pics. I only drove my 1999 Aurora, and my 06 Caddy to Lansing as my other Olds had to stay back in their stable. The Toronado and the Aurora was featured this year at the show. Pics range from the Olds car show, the REO Olds museum, Michigan State University at Olds hall of Engineering (my Uncle had worked there as an Chem professor) The Oldsmobile headquarters (my uncle also worked there) its now where the Caddies are built, alongside with the new Chevy Camaro at LGR, and then there is the Delta plant where the Buick Enclave and the Chevy Traverse, and the former GMC Acadia is built. No matter what factory your at, they both will remind you something about Olds and the importance and heritage that Olds had on this auto town. Olds had a major impact on this town and was one of the important marques we had.
Its nice to see other people into Oldsmobiles and how nice they really are! Its also nice to see other Aurora's in good condition as now I see mainly poor looking Aurora's now in bad as people dont care about them as much anymore. I still do see some nice Auroras around but somewhat rare now a days in good shape like some of ours!
I will add more pics later on as I get more time!
