As the title states; What is your everyday carry? Here is mine: - S&W M&P Shield 9mm or .45. Summer or deep carry Ruger LCP Custom .380. Just started breaking in the leather DeSantis IWB holster today, but previously used a kydex holster. - Mini Pen Type 120 Lumen Flashlight(single AA battery) - Small Gerber Pocket Knife - 'Tactical' EDC Pen - Wallet - Key Fob / Keys(Wish I could find another Aurora keychain :/) - Cell Phone (Android of course!) - Chap Stick The small collection suits my needs well on a daily basis!

But seriously, I know you've noticed how low participation has been lately. Most new members sign up, post a question, get an answer and go on their way. They aren't in it to keep these cars, they got it cheap because it was neglected - now help me fix it... And a lot of established members just aren't coming around much anymore, for whatever reason. I usually check the user numbers when I log in and for the past 24 hours, as of this post; 1 staff member(Thanks for hanging in there with us Rob!), 16 members, 200ish guests. That's kind of pathetic for a 8k+ member club. Think about it, no more MFA, no meets, and this year, no calendar. Just like the number of these cars still on the road, interest in this forum is dwindling... Or maybe the only ones that carry really is just me, you, and Marc... Once he gets his Uzi, that is, lol!!!

Haha nice!! You are right though! I don't think mark is getting that uzi in New York lol. At least in any real magazine capacity. Semi-auto is doable.

Yep, participation is super low lately. I try to stay on here, keep it somewhat under control haha. I was sad to see no calendar this year.

Me & my wife live in Connecticut now. But I still wouldn't be able to get an Uzi in Connecticut. Even in semi-auto.

Wow Marc! I just skimmed the CT "banned assault weapons" list... Looks like they're trying to get back to the sticks and stones days, haha!

EDC thread! A good idea.
Mine is as follows: S&W Bodyguard .380 Streamlight Protac 2L Wallet Phone ChapStick Original (lol)
I've been really happy with the BG 380. I'm thinking about switching to Kel Tec or a Ruger LCP just for something different but my other pistols are Smith and I will admit to a certain amount of brand loyalty.
Good stuff, guys!

Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 via the ProBoards app I preferred the LCP[custom] over the S&W BG. I am pretty brand loyal to S&W myself though when it comes to handguns. Is yours the model withe built in laser? You may look at the LCP custom or the new LCP 2. I don't see much of a need for two .380s though personally, but everyone has different needs! Perhaps look at a 9/40/45 S&W Shield, Ruger LC9 or a Glock 43. I am probably going to pick up a Glock 17 sometime in the near future. So, I have some magazine interchangeability with the AR9 I am building that uses Glock 9mm magazines. I just bought a Burts Bees Mango chapstick today lol. Whats up everyone. I carry a Kel-Tec P11 9mm. I am thinking about getting something else but I haven't decided yet. Ruger LC9S is a pretty inexpensive choice if cost is a factor. I would look into a S&W Shield V2 or Glock G26. Probably more toward the later for the mag interchangeability for higher capacity. Ya know there is always the Hi-Point 9mm. It makes a good hammer or brick.

It's a full size slim 9mm with a 17+1 capacity and is striker fired. It can even handle +P ammo (but not on a steady diet). I ordered two more mags from Ruger plus a CCW holster. It feels real good in my hand and I'll try ad get out this weekend and shoot it (along with my AR-15, Para P14/45, Ruger Mark IV Target, Ruger P90...etc)

Nice. I don't like full size pistols for carry, but if it suits you is all that matters. What kind of AR do you have? Currently building another one myself.

I have a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2. It's an "entry level" AR. All I've done to it was put a Barska 4X scope on it. I'm not going to do anything else to it. Just leave it the way it is. If I wanted to put upgraded components on it I would have spent more money bought a better AR. As far as CCW goes I really do not carry very much. I go on base a lot and I can not take it on base. I believe President Trump is going to change that so we can bring firearms on bases. I think he is also going to push for CCW licenses to be like drivers licenses where the are good across all states.. YEA!!!

I have a Sport II as well. It was my first. It is a fine rifle. Put some basic magpul furniture on it and a red dot. Really its weak point is the 1:9 twist. Then started building my own how I wanted them now. So modular, it is like legos, except more expensive. That is cool. I am not really a Trump fan(not to interject politics) but he may get something done in the pro 2A aspect at some point. I would hope for the hearing protection act, but won't hold my breathe. I'd like to have suppressors without waiting months and getting taxed $200. Open and conceal carry is legal here with no permit. Just no reciprocity. We have quite a few reciprocity states though for our permits. I have a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2. It's an "entry level" AR. All I've done to it was put a Barska 4X scope on it. I went out Friday morning (3/24/2017) and bought a Glock 26 Gen 4 9mm on base for $545 all in (no tax). This is my first Glock. I shot it that afternoon. I put about 50 rounds through it for a function check. I wasn't looking for accuracy just a function check. It came with a hard and soft case, three 10 round mags, four changeable back straps, cleaning kit, lock, and a mag loader. I bought another magazine and a ITWB holster. I put on mag extensions and did the trigger guard mod where you take off some material on the trigger guard for your index finger. I also ordered a new trigger assembly and HI VIZ sights. I hate the shape of the trigger. It comes to a point <- and actually HURTS your finger to pull it! With the back strap, trigger mod and mag extension it fits and feels so much better. Next time at the range I should have the sights and new trigger on it and I see just how accurate it is.

Did you buy a gen 3 or 4?

It's a Gen 4. Pretty sweet. The new trigger assembly and sights should be in this week. I just got back from buying a Ruger LCP .380 for $194. It came with a lock, 1 mag and a pocket holster. I've never had a .380 before and I thought it might fill a niche between nothing a a 9mm.
