Hey guys, just curious how deep the depth is for the in-dash receivers. I have a '03 olds 'rora 4.0 and i want to install the Sony XAV-AX100. it's dimensions (W X H X D) are 178 x 100 x 161.5 mm

Merry Christmas member!, it should fit with minimal problems....did the same with my Rora'. If u have the "Bose" set-up, be sure to get all the kits needed for easiest install.

Crutchfield says factory mount depth is 5.813"(147.65mm). Not saying you can't make it fit though, haha!

good to know thanks guys. so mrn65, you have experience with this specific receiver? what did you have to do to get it to fit.

I don't have that specific Sony model, but mine is a Sony double din unit... All that is needed is a "double din" in-dash kit, & if you have the "Bose" set-up, you will also need the wring kit as well. Everything went together w/of any major changes.

any stereo will fit it just for some of them you need to cut down few coroner in radio bezel or the back side. anything that 5-6 inch should be able to fit with almost none modification . I have JVC 7 inch that one i had to cut few corners in radio bezel .

My Pioneer AVH-3300BT fit depth wise without a problem, but as paul said, the bezel had to be trimmed to fit. Just don't be afraid to use a dremel and you'll be ok!
