I have a 2003 Final 500 Aurora #222 with 96k miles. It runs great but I have had a problem recently with the check engine light coming on and setting the codes for lean bank 1 & lean bank 2. The intake manifold gasket has been replaced and all 3 O2 sensors but it continues to happen. After a few start/stop cycles it goes out again and the cycle repeats. Anyone had a similar problem?

Not me.
If no one with a G2 who knows their usual problems chimes in soon:
So it drives pretty well and just throws the code?
I'd be concerned about vacuum leaks allowing extra air in the system. I can't find them well. Did your mechanic change the intake gasket to fix the problem or was it unrelated? My mechanic uses some kind of expensive smoke test. Other people have other tricks.
It is possible to test the fuel pressure. For me that is more of a concrete thing to test and vacuum leaks require experience lol. Honestly I'd probably change my fuel filter if its been awhile then test it.

All the work was done to resolve the code issue. The car runs great. My mechanic ran the smoke test which is why the intake gasket was done.

Have your mechanic check the "plenum boot". It's between the throttle body and intake manifold...

I'll 3rd that, plenum boot. In my opinion the number 1 or 2 reason why codes are set. The other being crank / cam sensors.
