I read that the Cadillac STS radiator is bigger than ours. Would anyone happen to know what year Radiator that would be? Also, are there any performance gains or advantages in running a bigger radiator? I'm really curious because I need to change my water pump and I can do both at the same time?

Yeah, I've done mine. It's a tight squeeze but it fits perfectly. Same years as ours (2001-2003). Is much thicker line, cools better too. Keep in mind, the only difference is the transmission line thread ends to the radiator. Their different sizes. Easy setup, just get the thread ends with that Caddy radiator definitely. It's a must. Definitely would recommend when doing a new water pump. My Caddy radiator comes with trans cooler built in, which I'll setup later. You can just plug them up temporary.

Okay I'm a bit confused on that part. What am I keeping you from the caddy radiator? And I'm assuming the lines are flared so what would I do cut the end off and e-flare the other line? Also, is it 8 transmission cooler or oil cooler? I'm a little more confused than when I started. Lol

Sorry, passenger side is oil cooler and driver side is transmission. On the driver side, the bottom line can be connected directly but the top line the flare is the same. The only difference is that threaded end nut, it's a different size. It has a "C" clip You'll have to swap them, there interchangeable no need to cut your line I'll get pictures later.

So just to confirm. The 2001-2003 2G Aurora factory radiator has a transmission cooler ONLY and the 2001- 2003 Seville STS/SLS factory radiator has a transmission cooler AND oil cooler?

As far as what I've seen. That's why I had to try it and sure a perfect fit with no problems to this day. Very happy with this accomplishment. For your question "yes"...

Ok, I'm re-lost. What do I have to plug on the sts radiator and what do I need to swap? I want to make sure I know what I need before I commit to this swap. I want to get it done seeing as how I'm replacing the water pump and thermostat. I might as well do the radiator while I'm at it.

From what I read In AUROD's post, you need to plug up the oil cooler outlet, which seems to be on the passenger side.

You can get a replacement rad for the Seville with or without the engine oil cooler. Same size, I'd assume the one with the cooler is for the STS, the one without for the SLS...
And you DO NOT HAVE TO plug an unused cooler. It won't leak coolant without a plug or an attached line. If you plan on using in the future, a plastic plug wouldn't be a bad idea, just to keep dust/dirt from contaminating the passage...
Confirming, trans oil cooler is driver's side, engine oil cooler is passenger's side.
Replacement part numbers and core sizes;
Aurora SPECTRA PREMIUM CU2491 w/o Engine Oil Cooler 30-1/2 x 15-5/16 x 1
Seville SPECTRA PREMIUM CU2513 w/o Engine Oil Cooler 30-1/2 x 15-5/16 x 1-1/4 SPECTRA PREMIUM CU2514 w/ Engine Oil Cooler 30-1/2 x 15-5/16 x 1-1/4
