I saw a head gasket set for sale that claimed to raise compression to 11.254 to 7 I'm kind of skeptical but I cannot find them again has anyone else heard of this I'm trying to get all I can out of the car lol I love this car 99 4.0

Any help would be appreciated also can I delete my egr without codes other than a reflash can I loop the plug?

11.25:1 might be pushing it on pump gas. Do you have good access to 93 octane and are you willing to pay for it?
What mods have you done so far, what kind of shape is your car in and what bjdget do we have to deal with?

Yeah, I doubt even a sheet of aluminum foil as a gasket would get you to 11, lol.
Not to mention the inevitable added cost of head studs/inserts when you pull the heads...
Talk to a PCM tuner.

Thanks guys I was sceptical about the head gasket anyway and all I do is fill up with 93 octane I think I'm just going to save up the $500 and get a Northstar Performance ECM stage 3 tune have them delete the EGR codes and just use a couple of non fouler's and hollow out my catalytic converter when upgrading my exhaust

Using non fouler's to pull the downstream oxygen sensor out of the exhaust flow does keep the code from popping up right?
