I updated my introduction post to mention buying a third Aurora (‘98) as a parts car. It looks like we’re going to quickly move forward in getting the needed parts from it and rehoming it. I’ll put up a post in Marketplace when it’s ready to go in case anyone needs parts - or a project - but, in trying to think ahead, what kind of easily removable parts should I save, either for my pair of ‘99s or for the benefit of others?

I'd say the door handles, power seat motors, memory module. LCM (lamp control module), torque axis motor mount (so you could repair one to swap into the car as they're discontinued), if the trim along the roof and windshield is in good shape take that off (also no longer available), multi-function switch (turn signal/headlight switch), maybe the HVAC/DIC unit. Just trying to think of things I've gone to the yard for in the past that aren't really available online or are expensive online if they are.

what color interior is it, also save the dash surround if it is not torn by the drivers knee. Instrument cluster and the many computer modules.
