Ok, so I found a 2003 VIN 9 4.6 with about 67k miles. I believe it's either out of a Deville DTS or a Seville. I'm looking to drop this into my 2001 With a 4.0 that's probably gonna go bad soon or not. Here are my questions...
1. Is it a direct bolt on? Same mounts? 2. Will all the accessories fit? 3. Will the 4.0 PCM run the 4.6 without any modification? 4. Will the same trans be ok? [Trans is solid] 5. Any issues I should know about?
According to the site, the engine has been compression tested, cylinder leak tested and oil pressure tested. What comes with a three-year warranty. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Plato 442 did this swap. Try emailing him about that.....he hasn't been here in a few months.

WOW! media.giphy.com/media/artr28YUQ6S0o/giphy.gifThis I got to see; The only concern I have is the PCM. Most likely it has to get tuned, as far as the Tranny I believe is strong💪 enough to handle that little more power. I and Hulk Hogan will prey for you brother...

Any issues I should know about? 1. Yes. 2. Yes. 3. Yes. 4. Yes. All VIN C/Y/9 engines used the 4T80E. Nothing bigger/stronger for the era. 5. All sensors and harness connectors don't match. Keep all sensors from the 4.0... This is all from research, but yeah, pretty much plug 'n play!

I would be getting a block without accessories. Did you happen to know anything about the sensors that do not match? Also, will it just be a simple cut and rewire?

I think when he said all the sensors I think he meant ALL the sensors on the motor do not match harness wise. I would imagine this was a move by GM to make more part numbers and drive up costs...

Haha, no, there's only a few.
Oil pressure sender is different for sure. Maybe one or two more.
But if you're getting the engine 'bare', no worries then, just swap everything over from your 4.0.

Ah, you're talking about if I pull the motor wiring and all... Ok. The place told me that it's a bear engine, no accessories.
