Hi guys. I didnt think my first post would be a trouble post. I went to drive home after dropping off a package at my mother in laws... the car was turned off for 5 mins max, and when I started the car no head lights or instrument cluster lights. I got out the wiring diagrams and thought it would just be a case of replacing a fuse....but no go, I checked almost all the fuses in the car related to the lights and nothing was wrong. any one ever had this problem and what was the fix? All the signal lights and hazards work, and the brights come on when I pull the arm back but they wont stay on. Suggestions ??

Sounds like it could be a problem with you LCM (lamp/light control module). Little box under the dash behind the plastic black kick panel (3 screws). I believe it has a purple sticker on it and it's to the left of the steering wheel. This is just a shot in the dark though. For fun, try checking out the I/P 1 and I/P 2 fuses under the back seat. Not sure that those would cause the headlights not to come on, but they would effect the dash lights. This is all assuming you drive a classic and not a 2G

It is a first Gen (99) . I checked the fuses, they're ok. I'll check the LCM. Thanks Rob

I got it out finally...nothing seems to be wrong visually, is there away to get the relays apart without ruining them, or having to desolder them from the board?

Oops...I forgot to post the fix. The previous owner had bypassed the light control module with his own wiring and relays....I guess he couldn't find a light controller.... And he buried all the components bup near the fire wall. One of the relays was toast...cost 9 bucks to fix....and 6 hrs of troubleshooting.
