Seems there are some small parts that have been improved on later year models that can be found at salvage yards. On my 95, I have found the console and glovebox light switches worked poorly. I replaced them with (98)later improved ones. I also replaced the 95 only trunk light with the 96 and up light. Are there any other things that I am missing?

Did you mention front control arms?
Mind you I'm complaining about a 21 year old bushing but still.

Was the trunk ever fixed to pop up higher when released ? Mine only jumps up a quarter inch or so. Is there something I can do to fix it or is that normal?

You might be able to find a bulkier gas strut with the same length that will pop it open fully. Upgrades like you mentioned for '95? You can wire in the compass mirror from a '98/99 or homelink if you don't have either.
