So i bought a shelby series 1 motor a few years back and installed it. The guy sent a wiring harness and a PCM for the Series 1 motor but I never installed it.
Can it be installed and will it work? What do I need to do to get it to work?Is it different or better performance chanracteristics?
Anyone have any info on the Shelby Series 1 engines?

Not sure that anyone on here will have the answers to your questions unfortunately. Only thing I can think of is if it is the same as an Aurora PCM (physically) is to plug it in and see what happens. Not the safest option of course.

The S1 PCM is from a LS1/manual trans, it won't work. It will run the engine, but that's about it.
Might be possible to run the engine off of the S1 PCM and the trans (and everything else) off of the stock Aurora PCM, but that's above my pay grade/security clearance, haha!
FWIW, the S1 PCM is "tuned" to maximize performance (320HP claimed). Only other differences were more aggressive cams, smoother intake manifold, headers, high flow cat and Borla exhaust...
