If you've never had a copy of original service manuals for a car, you will be pleasantly surprised how valuable they will be to you. They have quite a few 1999 Aurora Service Manuals on eBay right now. You will NEVER EVER regret buying them.

Are you sure the passenger side switch is actually changing the lumbar position on the driver side?
The motor/pump for the lumbar support for both seats is located under the driver's seat so you may just be hearing it there. The lumbar supports are just air bladders that are inflated/deflated depending on which setting is requested.

OH. I will go check it and get back to you then. I heard the motor making its noise and felt the vibration under the seat. I will go grab a stick and see if the passenger one affects the drivers and see if the passenger one works. My guess is they probably do, my 2g was quieter and appeared to be separate haha.

So I feel dumb. You're right, the compressor is under the driver seat but it DOES control the passenger. Sorry about the confusion haha. Also, I went and ordered me some shop manuals for 25 bucks.

It'll be the best $25 you ever spent.
Did you ever come up with a name for the car?
I sent you a PM awhile ago with a couple suggestions.

If the driver controller is controlling the passenger I'd check the door jamb wiring as tigger suggested earlier and also the wires under the seat.
