Hey everyone of course I'm new here but hope to learn a lot about my newest car to me. I work in lawn care during the seasons but fix cars, TV's, phones, all kinds of electronics on the side. Honestly I'm a huge Lincoln fan but recently picked up 2 of these awesome cars. I am needing help with a issue (https://aurorah.proboards.com/thread/31906/weird-98-aurora-trans-issue aurorah.proboards.com/thread/31908/codes-transmission-issues I would really like to get this mint condition on the road I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I'm 42 and have quite a bit of experience working on cars considering I've learned from buying tons of $100 vehicles. I've made many bad life choices in the past so I don't make much money because of it. I am really smart when it comes to troubleshooting and fixing vehicles but I still need help. Both my cars I found were taking extremely well care of by a much older couple but the one I'm trying to get working properly is what I'm needing help with. They were ALWAYS taken to shops for anything because the previous owners were well off that's why this problem I'm having is throwing me off a little. That and I've only worked on a handful of transmissions with minor issues besides one complete overhaul of my sons little 02 cougar. Anyway that's a little about me but I'm desperate for some feedback about the problem I'm having and would like to fix the issue right the first time. Please please give a dude some feedback so my broke ass can get this awesome car on the road again! Thank you very much for reading my jumbled up mess of a introduction and have yourselves a wonderful day!

Welcome to the club. Glad the cars fell into the hands of someone that cares about them!

I'm glad too! I've kept my eyes open for a decent cheap car to fix and all others seemed to have more problems with them and this guy was honest about them. They were always in the shop and taken very good care of. The guy even replaced the tires less than a year ago and spent over a grand for all 4 (I have every receipt) and I picked up both for a measly $500 for everything!! I've fallen in love with it and I have many things I want to do to make it "my own"!
