On my drivers door the window switch assembly functions, but the woodgrain assembly where it meets the plastic isn't all the way secured. Does this pop off any particular way? Don't want to break it off the door. Thanks

If we are talking about the 1st generation Aurora (95-99) that piece secures to the panel that is in the door with metal tabs that get pulled through the plastic. The solution is to pull everything off and re-seat the tabs. If not possible, then use double sided 3m tape to make it a bit more secure

on 2g you just pull it up tom the handle side.
