I've looked through various threads, but still have a question: A friend of mine took off the passenger side secondary valve on his 2001 3.5 engine Aurora, and has ordered a new valve (it was gummed up inside and had water in it), but he's got a problem .... he can't reach the end of the exhaust tube that comes out of it to remove it. He can see it, but can't get at it. He was wondering if you have to drop the subframe to do it, and I can't imagine it being that difficult. Does anybody here have a GM service manual they could share a page with us? To show the steps? To make this easier? (I'm going to get him to join our site, too!) Thanks so much, Greg "Dr K"

There should only be one secondary injection pump. It's located on the driver side behind the fog light in the bumper. It's easily accessible by removing the inner fender well cover.
