Has anybody here ever had problems with Paypal? As for me, I had to open a new Paypal account because the one I was using up until now was not letting me log in. To make a long story short, there was so much trouble with the old one that Paypal customer service said to open a new one. I did that. BTW, I'd been using the old one since 2009.

FWIW, I have used PayPal for many, many years without any problems. In fact, PayPal has saved me money already. I got burned on a purchase once and PayPal refunded all of my money and went after the seller. PayPal is actually one of my preferences to pay for items.
Just my experience.

Yes same for me, never an issue with paypal. Been using it since about '05. In fact they also got me my money back when a car parts company refused to refund me even though they were in the wrong. Nothing but good experience here.

Paypal has also been my preferred method for on-line payment, for a long time. I've had them give me a refund when it seemed like the Seller was given no other option. (Maybe that's involved with some people not liking it.)
There are loop-holes and unequitable deals everywhere, of course. Personally, I get a bit annoyed, when on-line Sellers do not accept Paypal, but maybe there's some technicality that doesn't work, for them?
I live in a rural area. There a several restaurants now, with "download our app & order!" advertising. Seventy or eighty percent of those apps don't recognize that location as one that participates in "in-app ordering." ----compared to that, Paypal is completely issue-free, for me.

I have a hobby business making CD ignitions for old cars (a generation older than our Auroras). My preferred method of being paid is by Paypal. I send the invoice in Canadian dollars and the customer can pay in whatever currency they have. Paypal takes a roughly 4% cut and a bit more for the currency exchange, but it removes all of the hassles of international sales. Without paypal I probably wouldn't bother.
