I threw my little OBD11 scanner on to see what my check engine light was about (01' V8 Aurora)
- P0030- H025 Heater control circuit bank 1 sensor 1 - P0036- Bank 1 sensor 2 - P0141- 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 - P0155- Bank 2 sensor 1
So basically my 02 sensors are bad and I just need new ones. Is that all it comes down to?
Which are the locations for these 02 sensors? Each of the manifolds? And then 1 by the exhaust?

The 2001 FSM shows three O2 sensors. There is one in each exhaust manifold. The third one is in the exhaust pipe in back of the cat con. The FSM also says that the engine temperature should be above 120* in order to remove the sensors easily, and to see that an anti seize compound has been applied to the sensor threads....Pgs. 6-1880 to 6-1882.

Ok great thanks for the info Marc Now hopefully the ones on the manifold aren't impossible to change without removing a bunch of stuff 😄

To get to the rear one, the FSM says to support the rear of the powertrain frame, remove the 4 rear frame bolts & lower the frame 3 inches. Then you can get to the rear O2 sensor. For the front, remove the front splash shield to reach the front 02 sensor.

did you try to clear the codes and see if all of them will appear again. Its hard to believe that all of them died at one time. Maybe there is wire issue or fuse.

My last aurora went up to 200k with not a single o2 sensor ever changed. Other aurora up to 140k with not a single one changed and the current one i have only changed one sensor. I would double check the wires or ground cables. I never seen a single car that had all o2 sensors fail in 1 shot.

Checked all that good to go... These codes have been for a while and some of the other PO numbers have only added to it. So it hasn't been at same time. I'm only asking about it now haha 🙏

Changed my radiator side 02 sensor this weekend. That code went away. And then I changed the other side by the firewall. Wow what a huge PITA that one was. I think I'll pay a shop next time lol. That code went away as well. Car runs strong and smooth the way it should. Nothing beats a beautifully run Northstar engine lemme tell ya!
