yes you will brake them but you can buy them online for cheap. My friend did same and hard not to brake.

I bought them before I even started taking the rockers off knowing I'd break some. But didn't think they'd be as tough to get out as they were! Holy smokes. Gonna leave the rockers off until my crankshaft position sensors arrive so I can lift the car up for installation.

You need a pliers trim tool for things like that , your bending came from prying when the force is supposed to be under the spot and pop up
