Awesome collection! Volvos are so practical and luxurious that it's a hard bargain to beat in todays luxo-sport climate. I had a stable of them, the 2 2004 S80's one 2008 S60 2.5T and the R. To thin out the herd I sold my 08 S60 2.5T to my nephew that needed a reliable car, and GAVE his sister the better equipped 04 S80 2.5T because her Nissans AC had crapped out and didn't want her riding my Great-Nephew around in SC heat without AC. I also sold the other beater S80 to a friend that needed a reliable car. ALL maintenance on all of them was up to date (timing belts, water pumps, and PCV oil traps--what a BEAST-- were done on ALL of them. Maintenance is key to these cars and is noted by the miles. Btw is that an S90 Inscription in your stable? Those things are AWESOME!!

Good to talk to ya man, take it easy bro. As soon as I can, I'm going to buy a daily driver. I'm thinking about a late model Honda or Toyota V6. I'm hoping to keep my Aurora as a collectible. I want to preserve it for the rest of my life!

Thats why me and my fam had intrigues or Auroras there drove nice and cheaper to fix and looked better than Volvos of that era. But as you said Maintenance is the key with olds or volvo . If you miss one important Maintenance or not fix something in time than you get your self money pit. Olds less than volvo but still. Yes it was 2018 s90 inscription with all the options except Luxury package that adds rear heated seats and front massage option. But did had air suspension bowers and Wilkins system . It was a lease and very nice car lots of room same amount as in bmw 7 series . However it had many small but annoying issues and yes they were fixed by warranty but it was more in shop than I was driving it. Volvo did fix tons of issues in 2019 models and up i decided to return my lease and wait for full electric s90 Still have 2017 inscription s60 with all options except AWD and self parking .

Yeah, we’re about the same in that respect. I’m not a fan of the newer Volvos because they moved away from the proven 5 cylinder power plant and went to all 4 cylinder. The S90 is beautiful but I hate the hunched-in look of the S60’s from about 2015 or so. Still like the company tho and am a proponent. Wish they would build another R performance model but when they went to R “Design” I was done. We all wanted a TRUE performance S80 and S90 but Volvo made it clear by saying “we’re NOT BMW and we don’t desire to be BMW. If you want a BMW go get that. Our Volvo principle is safety.” I get that but who doesn’t want a performance car? I went with BMW for a while and bought a 2016 550iX M sedan and it’s reliability left a sour taste in my mouth so I went back to older Volvo’s. Sadly I also bought an 08 Nissan Rogue SL (all options) but it’s lacking in the tech department but it’s a GREAT daily driver. Ppl complain about the CVT, but I absolutely love the CVT and it’s fuel economy.

One thing I can say is that since GM eliminated Oldsmobile I’ll never buy another GM product. I have an 08 Malibu LT2 as my town car but that’s the last I’ll buy from GM. It’s underwhelming and the fuel economy isn’t great at ALL! I get about 18 around town with 13 second 0-60 times…that’s crazy. No more GM products. I’m looking at the new Toyota Corolla GR Circuit Edition and the Supra GR but every dealer I’ve gone to wants at LEAST a $10k market adjustment fee smdH. I’d looked at Corvettes but my GM stigma keeps me away.

yep for me Volvo more for safety since except benz(but not big fan of Mercedes benz) no other car build that well and i mean passive safety like Aurora not Active one those "helpers" wont help you if 18 wheeler plows in to you.
