Over the past few weeks, I have had to speak to customer service at some very well known places. In all instances, I encountered reps who were inarticulate, unknowledgeable, not fluent in English, and actually sort of hostile in one time. My question: how do they get and hold onto their jobs with those attitudes?

I'm going to guess like almost all customer service lines nowadays they are probably based in India. Pay is much lower, quality of service lower than that.

Yes, I was watching a Documentary a few days ago and English is a 2nd language. Many have Telemarketing jobs and do customer service. But some do Scams. Check out Jim Browning on YouTube. youtu.be/le71yVPh4uk
