My main issue is that I am pushing at or above 6K RPMs once I crawl into the 135-140 range which makes me extra nervous. I feel she deserves another gear and could benefit from it.


I did some snooping and saw manual swap talks, that's simply out of the question as I need to stay within the realm of my daily commute which is heavy traffic. Has anyone else accomplished this feat? I suspect the largest factor would be making it behave with the onboard systems plus the NSP tune.

you need to find a transmission which can mate to a northstar pattern or be adapted. youre looking at custom work. the 6t80

Cant post a picture without first saving to my computer, so I said screw it, but here is the two trans.    you will run into a lot of issues being you need a TCM, a PCM programming, a lot of custom work, idek whats going on with the 6t80 lacking a differential it seems., etc
