I have a 1999 Aurora, and first, I was always under the impression that rear light bar across the trunklid illuminated…? I see separate bulbs located throughout the fixture, however, it’s always dark. I’ve checked the obvious fuses/relays to no avail. I went to remove it, and it appears to be it isn’t as easy as removing four bolts inside the trunklid. Is there any secret as to removing it, because even if it wasn’t meant to illuminate, a strip of LED’s will be going in there.
Thanks in advance,

That does look nice. Should be able to see them a mile away. Anyone that rear-ends you with all those lights on is definitely not paying attention.
