Hi, everyone. I tried to find an answer to this question in this section of the forum, but I couldn’t find anything that seemed to fit. (Either that, or I don’t know what I am looking for.)
The rear suspension compressor on my 05 with 115K miles almost always stays on after I’ve driven the car any distance at all and turn off the ignition. However, it may stay on for 15 seconds or 5 minutes - it’s completely random. The rear end always seems to be level regardless of whether the trunk is empty or loaded down. Do I need new rear shocks, check the system for leaks, or just learn to live with it? Thanks!

Possible a leak somewhere i would look for it otherwise it will burn up the compressor and that wont be fun to replace esp if its all rusted out there.

Get you a bottle 409, or soapy spray solution.... lift rear end w/jack stands & spray the air lines....bubbles will show you ur air leak.

OK familyman, I clicked on your name and I see where you purchased a 95 Aurora back in March of this year. Is this the car you're actually have suspension problems with?

Thats a great question because a 1995 and a 2003 (aurora) will have different diagnostics for this issue. and a 2005 lesabre or bonneville or park avenue would have the same as a 2003 aurora.

OK Familyman, Sorry, but it seems we got side-tracked from your initial supension issue. Did you ever get if figured out? I'm sure there are people on here that can help. And is it for a '95?
