What are the procedures and part numbers for any parts I should address to ensure long smooth life for my 95 4T80E?
Solenoids? All? Part Numbers? or Kit number?
Is there a recall kit?
I would like it as perfect as possible. I was going to do the upgrades and change the fluid.
Thx in advance.....

Ok, for our 95's the proper kit numbers are these: ACDELCO Part # 24211355 - solenoid kit with updated bracket and pcs filter, FRAM Part # FT1172 - quite nice updated filter kit (please dont use cork gasket which comes with it). Also about 8.5-9qts of fresh fluid.
Sequence will look as such: carefully unscrew the pan a bit, one end more than other and let it drain; unscrew it completely; while it drips important to thoroughly clean the pan from both sides, clean gasket, clean bolts, clean magnet thingie (you'll see); inside tranny unplug the 3 jacks (2 sols and 1 pressure range sensor thingie inside valve body); disconnect control rod (nothing hard just be careful and take photos how it was before); unscrew the valve body (LOADS of black bolts, there are bit on the side looking like a ghm penis, you need to unscrew it as well to get the valve body out); take it out; it will drain from everywhere - let it; you will have the valve body complete with 'channel plate' - check it's condition; diss the valve body, take out sols and filter BETWEEN them INSIDE the vb and replace all then when taking it back suddenly maning of extra bolt and a bracket in recall kit will be clear as a day, so discard older shorter bolt and secure the bracket to hold pcs filter in forever with a new bolt; then reverse all (care for BALLS!!); put new filters in, new fluid - at least 8 qts first then top up.
All this is addition to great trans sol fix writeup in the sticky thread ! Read it and print out the pictures !
That's about it =)

Awesome info, thanks. I looked and the kit includes the solenoids as well, so that should do it. Really appreciate the info!!
